Stock Ticker plant application  

EnSoftek was involved in developing an application for online stock quotes, and financial news. This application gathers data from major national and international stock exchanges over TCP/IP ports in different data formats and converts them into the Comstock data format (CIM and CIPP). The data is then stored in an object database, which is accessed by the application server to publish it to different clients subscribed to Comstock.

The application was written using java for parsing and storing data. The Object database was written in C++ for real time processing and querying.  

Quick Books Accounting System Integration  

EnSoftek’s integrated a web based application with Quick Books accounting system through an application programming interface built into QuickBooks Pro 2002 to facilitate electronic data exchange and the creation and management of accounting and other business data. Integration is accomplished by sending XML requests (QBXML) and parsing the response.
