The Small Business Governmentwide Acquisition Center (GWAC) recently announced its selection of EnSoftek, Inc. as a Constellation I awardee and EnSoftek|CMX as a Constellation II awardee of its 8(a) STARS II contract vehicle. 8(a) STARS II is a multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with a five- year base and one five-year option that provides IT services across four functional areas for the Federal Government. The benefits of this contract vehicle include access to “proven 8(a) small business technology providers” such as EnSoftek, a $10 billion program ceiling, directed task order allowance of up to $4 million, low user access fees, and shortened procurement lead time.

The 8(a) STARS II GWAC is designed to promote small business utilization when purchasing information technology (IT) services or IT services-based solutions for the federal government.

Constellation II includes an additional industry credential, such as ISO certification or CMMI service standards, both of which are held by EnSoftek|CMX JV.
